The self-proclaimed socialist, republican, and ecological opposition member in Saône-et-Loire believes that the current MP for Chalonnais, Sébastien Martin, was wrong to vote for the Duplomb law: "A mistake against health, biodiversity, and the future of our territories. By validating the reintroduction of acetamiprid, a neonicotinoid pesticide banned in France since 2020, Sébastien Martin is deliberately turning his back on the warnings of scientists, doctors, and environmental associations. This molecule crosses the placental barrier, has been found in the cerebrospinal fluid of children, and threatens neurological development."
